Depth-of-Field
Depth-of-field is the area of an image that appears to be clearly focused. In reality, there is only a plane of sharp focus, but human eyesight has its limitations and so we perceive slightly blurred areas as being acceptably sharp - and this areas is called depth-of-field. But what does this mean for the photographer? Do you want a lot of depth-of-field or just a little?
